Tango Tempter & Beginners’ Workshop

Tango Tempter & Beginners' Workshop

Would you like to find out more about Argentine Tango? Or maybe you have some experience and would like to revise or rediscover this wonderful dance?

Our Tango Tempter and Beginners’  Workshops are just for you!

Join us on Sunday 20 May 2018 – starting 10.30 a.m. at Renhold Village Hall –

Contact us here to reserve your place!

If you can’t wait until then, find out more about the Tango Beginners’ 4 week course starting on 5 February!

Come along for a special ‘Tempter’ workshop designed to give you an insight into the culture of tango, the music and the dance. We’ll show you the embrace, how to lead and follow, walking, some essential steps and musicality. You’ll leave this Tango Tempter with an understanding of what tango is all about and why so many of us are seemingly addicted to it.

The Tempter will be followed by a light lunch and then a Beginners’ Workshop.

The Beginners’ workshop is designed to follow on from the Tempter so, if you do both, you’ll benefit from having 4 full hours of intensive tango learning! However, everyone is welcome to join us for this second workshop so, of course, come along whether you’re completely new to Argentine tango or would like to refresh your dancing.

The price for the full day of workshops is just £30 per person, which includes a light lunch.

The Tango Tempter on it’s own will be £15 per person.

The Beginners’ Workshop will be £15 per person.

We would like paid in advance please. We can accept payment by Paypal, cheque, cash or via internet banking. Once you have registered your place, we will give you details and send you an invoice/receipt.

If, for any reason, we have to cancel, curtail or postpone the workshops, payments will be returned.

It would be best to wear relaxed, casual clothing for these workshops – nothing too restrictive.

If you have dance shoes, please wear them. Otherwise, leather or suede-soled shoes are preferable as they make it much easier to move smoothly. Ladies, heels are fine (as long as you can balance in them!) but please not platform shoes. The closer your toes are to the floor, the better!

To book your place, make a payment or ask any questions about the day, please contact us by email or phone.

Everyone is welcome to join. No tango experience is required.

We would prefer the workshops to be booked in couples as it allows them to flow better for all attending. However, if you don’t have a partner, please contact us anyway as we will, hopefully, have enquiries from other people that you could pair up with for the day.
